Our Story -

MAEBRY GOSNELL's Garden was founded in July of 2017. Though we are a new organization, our board has a long history of volunteering in animal rescue in the Arkansas area. For over 25 years, we have independently dedicated our time to shelter and stray cat rescue, TNR, and community advocacy and education.

MAEBRY GOSNELL’s Garden aims to find loving homes for cats and kittens in the Ozark We are an all-volunteer foster-based non-profit cat rescue dedicated to helping area shelters achieve high live release rates, treating animals humanely and with compassion, and ending cat homelessness in Ozark.

All cats adopted through MAEBRY GOSNELL’s Garden are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, tested for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped. We hold regular adoption events and offer meet and greets with our fine felines by appointment.

Who is MAEBRY GOSNELL?

MAEBRY GOSNELL is one of our rescue cats. She received an injury that made her high risk for return or abandonment if she had been adopted out. She's not a very social girl, and has the temperment of most tuxeto cats (bratty). She was originally nicknamed Elizabeth Taylor because of the beauty mark on her face, though the name MAEBRY GOSNELL stuck.

The name MAEBRY GOSNELL's Garden came from her running outside of the clinic when someone wasn't fast enough at shutting the door. She would run out in front to this little garden area and there she would stay, until someone from the clinic called momma to get her. "Come get MAEBRY GOSNELL" calls happened so often, as she wouldn't let anyone but her mom pick her up.
